The PASOLINK Network Management Terminal (PNMT) was developed by NECto manageits
PASOLINK and PASOLINK+
fixed point-to-point wireless access system networks. The PNMT is
a scaled down version of the PASOLINK Network Management System (PNMS) that is designed
as a maintenance tool for field engineers to locally and remotely monitor alarms, control points,
generate reports, and archive data, all within a familiar graphical user interface, and all in real time.
The PNMT is a Mobile laptop computer fitted with the NEC PNMT software package that
interfaces and controls NEC PASOLINK series short haul wireless communications equipment.
This software package remotely monitors and controls the status and configuration of an entire
PASOLINK network with associated equipment including the performance of the actual
microwave links.
