Responsibilities:
1. Take lead to support tendering opportunities in China by providing
sourcing solutions for qualified products / service within required time to
drive and meet financial and technical requirements.
2. Identify, evaluate and select suppliers by utilizing various tools or
approaches, which may include:cost and price trends, market data, facts and
capabilities survey, facility review, reference checks, credit profiles,
product tests and/or information databases.
3. Negotiate contracts including price, terms and conditions for spending
budgets or more complex supply issues. Analyze contracting documents to
determine contractual obligations, preparing recommendations regarding
acceptance or modifications.
4. Support supplier relationship management programs and actions by managing
and updating the supplier success and quality metrics to ensure pre and post
sales product/service supplier quality and performance.
5. Responsible for developing and monitoring execution of action plans to
include corrective actions for suppliers that are not meeting minimum success/
quality metrics.
6. Monitor and support supply operation & lead-time to meet China customers’
requirements
