Release18的5G(NR)终端测量报告事件

移动通信中终端(UE)对服务小区和邻小区的无线信号测量对确定系统健康状况、保持其移动性及网络决策都非常重要;网络根据终端的测量报告分配管理资源并最终实现服务质量。

一、无线测量由终端设备(UE)和网络(gNB)共同进行;通常终端设备(UE)测量下行链路信号,网络(个NB)测量上行链路信号。终端(UE)也可以测量其他终端设备(UE)发送的上行链路信号。

二、测量报告 终端设备(UE)根据网络配置对下行链路和其他终端设备(UE)的上行链路信号进行测量,在满足设定条件时向网络侧报告;这些报告主要用于:

  • 切换优化:确保在当前连接质量下降时,将UE切换到不同小区或频率,从而保持稳定和不间断的服务。

  • 资源管理:在必要时触发测量和移动程序,从而有效管理无线资源,减少不必要信令和网络负载。

  • 无缝连接:实现不同小区和频率之间平稳无缝转换,在移动过程中提供一致用户体验。

  • 网络效率:根据实时无线条件和用户设备功能做出智能决策,优化网络性能。



三、5G(NR)测量事件 3GPP在TS38.331TS36.331中定义了5G终端(UE)测量报告事件,用于确保5G和4G网络中高效移动和切换管理;这些事件用于在满足某些条件时触发用户设备(UE)和网络中特定操作和程序,以确保移动设备在覆盖范围内移动时无缝连接和最佳性能。其中在TS38.331 R17中定义涵盖了各种场景,如检测UE何时移向小区边缘、识别更强的相邻小区或确定由于无线条件变化而需要切换并确保用户在移动条件下体验可靠和高质量的连接。

四、测量事件随着对UAV支持3GPP在38.331 R18中定义了24类测量事件(见下表)
