SyVe WCDMA system testing - Call processing

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
RAN System Verification is a network level end to end system testing for the radio access network system including UE, NodeB, RNC and other transport equipments in the system, the test environment also includes the core network part.
Target is to ensure SW is working as specified and meeting the set quality targets, find problems from the SW and ensure corrections are working for found faults. Tasks include test case design, case execution, fault troubleshooting, and execution reporting in own responsibility area. Maintain the test environments including software, hardware, and configuration to ensure functionality of the radio network and enable testing activities.
Requirements:
- M.sc or B.sc in Telecommunication
- 2+ years work experience
- Good knowledge of 3GPP, and Mobile network infrastructure technology
- Good knowledge of WCDMA/LTE RAN

- Good knowledge of RAN Signaling, RRM.
- Good knowledge of IP or ATM transport technology is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of electromagnetic RF principles
- Understanding and experience of the Core Networks (CS and PS) is a plus
- Basic scripting and programming skills are a plus
- Basic knowledge of Unix and Linux is a plus
- Fluent spoken and written English

SyVe WCDMA system testing - Transport & Transmission

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
RAN System Verification is a network level end to end system testing for the radio access network system including UE, NodeB, RNC and other transport equipments in the system, the test environment also includes the core network part.
Target is to ensure SW is working as specified and meeting the set quality targets, find problems from the SW and ensure corrections are working for found faults. Tasks include test case design, case execution, fault troubleshooting, and execution reporting in own responsibility area. Requirements:
- M.sc or B.sc in Telecommunication

- Good knowledge of IP transport technologies and protocols, such as vlan/rstp/ospf/tcp/udp/gtp/rtp and so on
- Good knowledge of WCDMA RAN network infrastructure technology
- Good knowledge of WCDMA RAN siganlling(RANAP/NBAP/RNSAP) is a strong plus
- Basic knowledge of ATM transport is a plus, such as AAL2/AAL5
- Understanding and experience of the Core Networks (CS and PS) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Unix and Linux is a plus

SyVe Pilot & Trial engineer

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
WCDMA RAN System Verification is a network level end to end system testing for the radio access network system including UE, NodeB, RNC and other transport equipments in the system, the test environment also includes the core network part.
Trial & Pilot team is part of SyVe. T&P engineers need to support trial and pilot projects on customer site, including new feature demo, system integration, case execution, fault trouble-shooting, fault report; T&P engineers will also review, execute cases and maintain test environments in own R&D lab.
Requirements:
- M.sc or B.sc in Telecommunication
- 2+ years work experience
- Good knowledge of 3GPP, and Mobile network infrastructure technology
- Good knowledge of WCDMA RAN
- Good knowledge of IP or ATM transport technology is a strong plus
- Basic understanding of electromagnetic RF principles
- Understanding and experience of the Core Networks (CS and PS) is a plus
- On-site working experience with customer is a plus

SyVe System Verification Engineer for I-HSPA

Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for System Verification testing planning, execution and reporting in I-HSPA applications and platforms.
- Responsible for building up test environment, test tool maintenance and test automation development.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of WCDMA/I-HSPA network.
- Knowledge of IP and Linux.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- 1-3 years similar testing background is an advantage.
