The Radio Network Design (RND) service relates to the initial rollout of HSPA Node’s in a new Customer service area. It is assumed that the network will be deployed in the Advanced Wireless Services (AWS) band. It is further assumed that the Customer will successfully perform AWS Band spectrum clearing activities prior to the first planned integration date of network buildout.The RND service transforms input from the Customer such as coverage and traffic requirements as well as fundamental plans into the technical requirements and actionable design solutions to meet Customer objectives for the radio network. The RND Service covers all aspects required to produce a high quality network that meets both short term and long term objectives of the Customer. From initial design to system rollout the service provides all necessary resources and tools needed to produce a high quality radio network that will be cost effective and meet the needs of end-users.
